Clients & Testimonials
Below are a selection of comments from some of our clients.
"ASAS provided us with a refreshing level of customer service and went above and beyond to exceed our expectations, I would not hesitate to reccomend their company."
"I would like to thank & recommend ASAS who did a marvellous job when they installed our gates. From the initial consultation through to the finished product they couldn’t have been more helpful or professional. Our gates look great and Steve has been brilliant sorting out any teething problems that we had, nothing has been too much trouble."
"As soon as I met Steve I knew we were in good hands for installing an automated gate at work. He guided us through our requirements and at all stages he was available to talk to and amenable to implementing our 'tweeks'. We have ended up with an automated system that suits us perfectly and have gone on to use him for a more complicated job, now completed and also running smoothly."
" We wanted a nice looking gate but it was important to us that it that it was strong and secure. We made a few enquiries and Steve at ASAS was recommended to us. We invited Steve out to view our driveway and we explained what we wanted. For us security was paramount. We wanted a gate that could not be opened with a gentle nudge of a bumper. Together we came up with a design that was ram proof, but at the same time looked attractive from the outside. The design we chose had the appearance of a two leaf gate folding inwards, but was in fact a sliding gate with a solid steel cross framed chassis which would sit firmly behind two thick steel posts set in concrete. The front of the gate was flanked by two large solid Oak pillars, again set in concrete. When it came to choosing the wood and the finish Steve was on hand to offer sound advice which we are now glad we took. We wanted an Oak finish to compliment the rural country lane setting, the Oak was a warm tan finish, but Steve explained that it would turn silver/grey within a year or two if left to weather. There would be little fear of it rotting in our lifetime if left untreated as it was a strong hard wood. There is the added chore of having to constantly maintain treatments once you go down the route of using stains and protectors. The work took two visits to complete, a block of three days to prepare the ground work and site the posts and then two days to fix the gate on to the frame and install the operating systems. This could probably have been completed in less time were it not for the appalling cold weather conditions. Steve and his team cheerily stuck to the task in hand and battled through to get the work completed by our deadline - full credit to them! The price was exactly as agreed, and there were no hidden extras. One year on, we are very satisfied with the job and we appreciate the help that Steve offered us with choosing our gate. It sounds obvious but since we've had it installed our sense of security has improved tenfold as we know the casual chancers are locked out, and although you're always at risk to the determined burglar, taking this simple step has made us feel a lot safer in our home."
